Common questions

Do I need an account to use R0 Pass?

No. There are no accounts and no sign-in. Your progress, mistakes, bookmarks and settings are stored on your device.

Where is my progress stored, and can I move it to a new phone?

Everything lives on your device. To move to a new phone, use the built-in backup:

  • On the old device: Settings → Back up / Export, and save the file somewhere you can reach it (Files or iCloud Drive, for example).
  • On the new device: install R0 Pass, then Settings → Restore and pick that file.

Restoring replaces the app's current data with the backup's contents.

How do I delete my data?

Clear your history and other data from within Settings, or delete the app to remove everything from your device. We don't hold a copy on any server, so there's nothing on our side to delete.

I bought a unit but can't open it / I got a new phone.

Purchases are handled by Apple. Use Restore purchases (on the paywall or in Settings) while signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with, and your purchases come back. If that fails, email support@r0pass.com with the Apple ID email you purchased with and we'll help.

I think an answer or explanation is wrong.

Accuracy matters most in a revision app, so please tell us. Email support@r0pass.com with the unit and, if you can, the question wording. Every practice question is original; if something reads as inaccurate we'll review and correct it.

Reminders aren't appearing.

Exam-date reminders are optional and scheduled locally on your device. Make sure you set an exam date and enabled reminders in Settings, and that notifications are allowed for R0 Pass in your phone's system settings.

Is R0 Pass connected to the CII?

No. R0 Pass is an independent revision resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the CII. Unit codes like "R01" are used only to describe which exam the material helps you revise for.

Still stuck?

Email support@r0pass.com and we'll get back to you. For how we handle data, see the Privacy Policy.
